Is about how we stage ourselves

and takes us on a journey through five human states of being towards simplicity

At first glance we can appear Undone, a pretentious mess and Unbeautiful. Things are misUNderstood as things are left UNsaid, which can leave us to feel UNloved. Once we UNcover or UNveil our layers, we can find a simple state of UNcluttered simplicity.

The Set, Costume, Choreography, Lighting and Music worked together onstage to UNderstand the notion of UN

An UNdone cube was put together over another cube, by the dancers, who by the end of the performance, pushed the cubes together through a square hole in a part of a cube extending out of the upstage wall, to create a state of UNderstood wholeness and oneness....

Anita is an Event and Stage Designer, with illustrative, graphic design and model making skills.  Her designs and meticulous illustrative work has been seen at the Adelaide Fringe Festival – The Widget Bar of Gluttony, The Enchanted Forest – Mount Barker Council, The calligraphy of The Juliet Letters for David Mealor and the Zephyr Quartet’s Adelaide Cabaret Festival. She has worked in costume design for Choreographers Lewis Major, Peter Sheedy, Israel Aloni and Lee Brummer. Her most recent work was seen at WOMADelaide 2018, 2019 and 2020, as she showcases her understated minamalist and playful installation style to represent WOMADelaide, by bringing to life the WOMAD brand around Botanic Park. 

 

Anita has worked as an artist in the UK, Northern Ireland, India and Thailand and has had her work exhibited in the Phillipines and Portugal. With Anita’s passion, diligence and focus on the creative collaborative process from beginning to end, she will reflect any concept in a thorough and joyful manner, and until she finds the right design solution.
